*If your vehicle has been towed, or if your items have been removed due to any of the parking disruptions listed below, please DO NOT contact the Mount Joy Borough Police Department, as they are not the entity responsible for enforcing and making decisions to have vehicles towed and obstructions removed. Please follow the instructions below if your vehicle has been towed.

  • West Henry Street from New Haven Street to approximately Trinity Lutheran Church Parking Lot (50 W. Main Street)- There will be no parking of vehicles and/or obstructions from Monday, April 17, 2017 through Friday, July 28, 2017, in the stone/grass areas as depicted on the plan which you can view by clicking here.
    • There will be temporary construction fencing installed in this area adjacent to West Henry Street.
    • All vehicles currently parking in this area and obstructions will need to be moved, NO LATER THAN 6:00 A.M., MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2017.  ANY VEHICLES LEFT IN THIS AREA WILL BE SUBJECT TO TOWING, AND THE COST ASSOCIATED WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER.  Barton’s Body Shop, located at 970 Rear W. Main Street, Mount Joy, (717)653-8654 will be the business called in case towing services are needed.

 

  • South Comfort Alley (an unopened alley) between West Donegal Street and the AMTRAK Right-of-Way, specifically between 35 and 37 West Donegal Street – There will be no parking of vehicles and/or obstructions in this area from Monday, April 17, 2017, through Monday, October 9, 2017, as depicted on the plan which you can view by clicking here.
    • A pumping station will be temporarily staged at the end of South Comfort Alley (against railroad fencing).
    • An area of 36′ x 12′ will be fenced off at this location for construction personnel and equipment only.
    • All parked vehicles, and/or obstructions in this area will have to be relocated NO LATER THAN 6:00 A.M., MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2017. ANY VEHICLES AND/OR OBSTRUCTIONS LEFT IN THIS AREA WILL BE SUBJECT TO TOWING, AND THE COST ASSOCIATED WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER.  Barton’s Body Shop, located at 970 Rear W.
