*If your vehicle has been towed, or if your items have been removed due to any of the parking disruptions listed below, please DO NOT contact the Mount Joy Borough Police Department, as they are not the entity responsible for enforcing and making decisions to have vehicles towed and obstructions removed. Please follow the instructions below if your vehicle has been towed.

West Henry Street parking will remain closed.  This area will be used for construction parking and material storage.

Market Street – The contractor will be utilizing high-reach equipment sporadically for roof panel installation.  One parking space will be cordoned off but there will be no impact on the travel lanes.  You can view the location by clicking here.

South Comfort Alley (an unopened alley) between West Donegal Street and the AMTRAK Right-of-Way, specifically between 35 and 37 West Donegal Street – There will be no parking of vehicles and/or obstructions in this area until further notice as depicted on the plan which you can view by clicking here.  A pumping station will be temporarily staged at the end of South Comfort Alley (against railroad fencing).  An area of 36′ x 12′ will be fenced off at this location for construction personnel and equipment only.

Cling Alley and Comfort Alley will remain closed until further notice.

Commuter parking lot on East Henry Street will be closed off for construction effective 11/12/18.  The area will be closed until September 2019.  Signs will be posted directing commuters to use the overflow parking behind the borough offices.  You can view this location by clicking here.

Boarding platforms will be accessed by using stairs on either side of the Marietta Street bridge.

All parked vehicles, and/or obstructions in this area will have to be relocated NO LATER THAN 6:00 A.M., MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2017. ANY VEHICLES AND/OR OBSTRUCTIONS LEFT IN THIS AREA WILL BE SUBJECT TO TOWING, AND THE COST ASSOCIATED WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER.  Barton’s Body Shop, located at 970 Rear W. Main Street, Mount Joy, (717)653-8654 will be the business called in case towing services are needed.
